A new event we might see in the March Update for Animal Crossing: New Horizons is an April Fool’s Day event with a new character held on April 1st!

Previously seen in Animal Crossing: New Leaf, April Fool’s Day was a notable event with special character Blanca who appeared in town to play an April Fool’s game with players.

Blanca would put on a disguise as one of the town’s villagers and hide inside their house next to the ‘real’ villager. Then, you’d need to talk to both the ‘fake’ villager and the real one to determine which one is the fake disguised by Blanca.

This determination could be made by observing factors like the villager’s talent, dream job, siblings, birthday, and photo item quote in conversation with them.

After deciding on the fake villager, you could give a special face towel item to the fake one, which they’ll use on themselves. Assuming you’re correct, the towel would reveal this fake villager as Blanca.
