At this point, Grand Theft Auto 5 has enjoyed success on three generations of consoles, starting life on the PS3 and Xbox 360 back in 2013. The page largely just lists alphabetically all of the people who assisted with the project which, as you can imagine, results in thousands of folks being mentioned.

While Rockstar has shared this thank-you message to the developers of GTA 5 and GTA Online, the latter is still set to receive more content throughout the remainder of 2022. Recent updates to the multiplayer juggernaut have introduced new missions, vehicles, and weapons for players to use in Los Santos, and the money GTA Online continues to make would imply that it's not coming to an end just yet. Even so, this new message on Rockstar's website may signal a shift in priorities, with an official GTA 6 reveal trailer potentially releasing before the end of the year.

GTA 6 has allegedly been in development since 2014, which, if true, means the studio was making a move towards the next installment just one year after GTA 5 came out. It's not clear what exactly is meant by "in development" as that could be related to pre-production work that may have lasted several years.
