Regarding them's the true good sound is only achieved by custom home made audiogear. ALL comercial made stuff is only for business purposes with profit in mind and are very overpriced.Sound is very poor and the reason is because "no good parts are used and audio enginiers are very non-qualified/ I think my grandma would make better" they have ability to create the best sounding stuff. It's not good idea to let talk and discuss two DIY'ers alone - they probably will offend each other-they live closed in thems own small worlds, each is "his owns kingdom king and best master".There is no need to go to visit some audio shows or listen to comercial made systems,as they will not sound better. Total sound quality depends only on used parts quality and to put theese parts together is not a big deal.There is also no need to go compare DIY stuff sound with live because is as much close to it as possible. If extrasenses feels "like fish in the watter"in a crowd, DIY'ers like to be single unless other DIY'er will accept fact that he is better on DIY.Unfortunately this happens very rare.One feature DIY'ers share is a kindness for everyone who wants to hear its system. The best words to them is -"yours DIYspeakers sound is more better than xxxxxxx EUR audiogear I have heard" makes them feel like in 9th heaven. If you have a luck see DIY'er in high-end show(usualy they do not go, unless want to ensure what new driver stands in newest ultra expensive speakers) probbaly its standing near the Maximalists, do not try to search cars they drive in parking area- they parked it free in next corner,or arrived by bus.

Maximalist
They listening only the most expensive and big systems,because smaller ones or the cheaper is not worth listening.But they alaways complaining about sound.They have big demand to systems because they compare it to live music.Some with live music,some with live music as such they imagine.There is no time to listen live music because all time is spent on audiogear critic and analyzing. The newer released model is a must upgrade for them and do not even try to discuss that older model is not so bad.The bigger the company ,the bigger advertisements and image of company -the better sound is. |
